New Songs - 'Home To The Sea' and 'To The Bitter End'

I saw Tom Paxton on his farewell UK tour recently - ‘Redemption Road’. A great night! ...

Still packing in the songs & stories of the early ‘60s in Greenwich Village and the Gaslight / Bitter End club scene.

So here’s a couple of Paxton-inspired songs:

Home To The Sea

Home To The Sea
A broken promise to the one left behind - still waiting to be swept away. Something of the Irish about it, maybe.

To The Bitter End

To The Bitter End
What a great name for a club!
Tom Paxton does some wry, fun songs - & this was meant to capture some of that.
Two cranky lovers who’ve been around the block - but they just can’t quite give each other up.

Makayla Colonello - ‘Yours’

Makayla is a great co-writing partner - her latest production version of ‘Yours’ is well worth a listen on her YouTube channel or below:

You can also see her singing last year’s UK Songwriting Contest winner - ‘Give me Impossible Things’ below:

We’ve a few other cool songs on the way - hope to share more here soon!

Meeting with Rod Andrews in Paris

Met up with Rod Andrews in Paris this month to look into us doing some co-writing. A lot of fun!

Rod does some great stuff – check out a few tracks & videos he’s put together with his band, Brainyboxer.

Three New Songs Added This Month

"Leave Some Love Behind"
A soft side - even for the cynics out there.

"Rose of New Orleans"
The unique celebrations of love, life, and death in New Orleans.

"Bring Your Love Outside"
Inspired by a Mark Cawley song, "What Would Lennon Do?"
