This Old Earth

And a voice cries out in the night:
‘Time’s over - time’s up - this old earth’s had enough - time to give back all you took’

Bad Things

Not me. Certainly not you. Those real Bad Folk… Yeh - you know who you are!…

Some Day

I started writing this 20 years ago as an apology. It was never accepted.

Quite right, too!

Cruel World

Welcome to a little slice of darkness.

‘No corpses were hurt in the making of this song…’

Bring Your Love Outside

Inspired by a recent Mark Cawley song, "What Would Lennon Do?" Turning on the TV news can be a grim view of the world  –  the power of positive voices.

Sweet Demon Angel

A co-write with Jack Bowden - he’s pretty damn good, I’d say!…

Never Miss The Water

‘Don’t know what you've got till it’s gone’ doesn’t feel like a good place to be heading.

The One Before The One

Never meeting ‘The One’.

Worse - all your ex-lovers marry the next one that comes along – you’re always ‘The One Before The One’.

Give Me Impossible Things

Winner - UK Songwriting Contest - best lyrics.

Thank you Makayla Colonello! Brought those words to life - feels a long time ago - still not released!…

Self-belief - daring to go for what really matters to you - no matter how far away it feels. Me and songwriting!

Another You

Me and my pal John McCormack.
A bit Film Noir maybe - whatever it is, I like it!
Cheers John C!

Some Day (Unplugged)

I started writing this 20 years ago as an apology. It was never accepted.

Quite right, too!

In Your Eyes

The melody & the vocals are both Kris Sandberg ('Italo Brothers’) - great friends / collaborators in Germany (Kris & Dietmar).

Rose Of New Orleans

Semi-Finalist for Best Song Lyrics at UK Songwriting Contest 2015.

The unique celebration of love, life & death in New Orleans. A rose tattoo marks the death of a loved one - brass bands lead grand processions through the streets - celebrating the lives of those that have gone on. The first line - the family and loved ones; the second line - all others who mourn.

Float Away

Another fun collaboration with Makayla Colonello - this time with Steve Rossi - thanks guys!

Pour a Little Water

Gaia - Gaia - Gaia! So proud of what Gaia has done with this to bring it to life! A big voice - a big heart - proper talented!

Pour a little water – pour a little faith my way
